OBJECTIVE

By the end of the course, trainees will be able to assess natural lashes and apply extensions using classic, hybrid, handmade Russian volume and pre-made volume techniques.

ADMISSION: By telephone and/or in-person appointment, following an assessment of your needs.

ENROLMENT DEADLINE: Enrolment must be finalised no later than 15 days before each session starts.

DURATION: 2 days, 14 hours, from 9h00 to 17h00.

GROUP SIZE: A maximum of 3 trainees per group.

CERTIFICATE: A certificate of attendance is issued at the end of the course.

TEACHING METHODS AND EQUIPMENT: Practice on a training head and on models. Products and equipment are provided by the training centre. A basic kit is included, together with a theory course manual.

PROGRESS MONITORING AND ASSESSMENT

Trainees sign an attendance sheet each day to confirm their presence. The trainer monitors learning and assesses practical work throughout the course. Trainees practise the techniques they have learned on models.

ASSESSMENT: Trainees take a multiple-choice test at the end of the course for the theory component. Practical work is assessed continuously.

COURSE CONTENT

ENHANCING LASH STYLING THROUGH PERSONALISED MAPPING

→ Develop a lash map suited to the eye shape (round, downturned, elongated, etc.)

→ Create natural, doe-eye or doll-eye effects

→ Work through the lash layers to create a dense, dark lash line

APPLYING EXTENSIONS IN LINE WITH THE TREATMENT PROTOCOL

→ Techniques for isolating a natural lash

→ Apply the extension precisely to a single natural lash, maintaining appropriate spacing and placement

→ Apply a complete set on models under supervision

PERFORMING LASH INFILLS, AFTERCARE AND EXTENSION REMOVAL

→ Identify areas that need infilling according to the lash growth cycle

→ Aftercare advice for the client

→ Remove extensions without damaging natural lashes (using a product or a manual technique)

LEARNING THE SCIENTIFIC AND ANATOMICAL BASICS OF EYELASHES

→ Understand contraindications: pregnancy, allergies and eye conditions

→ Identify the structure of a natural lash and understand its growth cycle

UNDERSTANDING CLASSIC AND RUSSIAN VOLUME EXTENSIONS AND TECHNIQUES

→ Distinguish between extension types: lengths (6 to 15 mm), curls (J, B, C, D) and thicknesses (0.10, 0.15, etc.)

→ Choose quality pre-made lash fans

→ Learn different techniques for creating lash fans

→ Choose the right number of lashes (2D to 6D) for the condition of the natural lash

→ Apply a hybrid set

MASTERING EYELASH EXTENSION EQUIPMENT AND ADHESIVES

→ Select suitable equipment for classic and Russian volume applications

→ Choose an adhesive suited to the room temperature and humidity

→ Use tweezers, microbrushes, patches and other tools

LEARNING HYGIENE AND SAFETY RULES

→ Set up a workstation that meets sanitary standards

→ Disinfect tools and hands correctly

→ Prepare the client: patches, lash isolation and pre-treatment advice
